Famitsu hanya memperlihatkan beberapa informasi penting, salah satunya yakni tanggal rilis game ini untuk versi PC dan PlayStation 4. .hack//G.U. Last Recode akan dirilis di Jepang tanggal 1 November 2017. Sementara informasi lainnya yakni penambahan episode keempat dengan judul The Dreaming Snakes that Make the World Turn yang akan menceritakan abjad wanita gres yang identitasnya masih belum diberitakan sama sekali. Mereka juga menarik hati detil informasi akan form ke-5 Haseo yang sampai ketika ini masih dirahasiakan.

Last Recode will be released in Japan on November 1, 2017.
